Who we are:

We have over thirty-five combined years of school office experience - ranging from office management to head of school and everything in between. We were in the school office before Step Up for Students existed and have been there for every iteration of the SUFS program. We know school finances inside and out. We have experience in all aspects of SUFS administration, creating budgets, daily bookkeeping, payroll, period-end closings, financial reports, board presentations, non-profit accounting, grant compliance (both restricted and unrestricted), agreed-upon procedures compliance, and comprehensive audit compliance. We have used most student information systems, and are pros with accounting software and spreadsheets. Anything you can throw at us, we have probably seen (and more!).

Our credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Master’s degree in Accounting

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership

  • CPA Candidate - anticipate obtaining license in mid-2027

  • Full-Service Accounting - because we have experience in all aspects of accounting, we have the ability to help with anything you need. This includes (but is not limited to):

    • Daily bookkeeping

    • Payroll - we can administer payroll using whatever platform you currently use, or we can offer suggestions for platforms and systems that will help payroll

    • Monthly reconciliations - SUFS payments, bank accounts, credit accounts, AR, AP, grant funding, prepaids and accruals, or anything else necessary

    • Monthly financial reports - we provide a comprehensive monthly report that tells you exactly where your school stands financially

    • Board presentation packages - anything you need to present to the board to give an accurate picture of the school’s financial health

    • HR administration - it is easy to get overwhelmed with HR, background checks, and the numerous other things required to keep a school in compliance. We can take this off your hands!

    • Grant administration - grants are an amazing way to obtain funds for schools, but tracking compliance is sometimes exhausting. Let us help you with this! We can track grant funds and compliance with both restricted and unrestricted grants. We complete annual reports and track when everything is due.

  • Are you looking to start a school from scratch? We have done that ourselves and are available to help you with the entire process - from start to finish.

  • And - BEST OF ALL - we can arrange to travel to your school when needed to set-up, assist with audits, or just sit down in person to make sure you are up-to-date!
